"Booked for a week encompassing the wine festival in Bernkastel-Kues and as a base for cycling along the Moselle river. The apartment was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and very helpful. Good walks nearby through the vineyards were well signposted. "I didn’t realize that there would be no one at the reception desk of the hotel until 3 pm, so there is no where to leave luggage before check in time. The train station does not have luggage lockers. The apartment building has 4 floors without an elevator, you don’t know your room number until you get your key, we ended up on the 4 floor with 64 stairs! The method for getting your key was pretty slick, you don’t need to go to reception."

"Everything was as expected. Clean, tidy pleasant staff, liked that we could get a takeaway coffee after breakfast. The only issue is the location, it's a one way system with limited parking outside the hotel. My recommendation if you can't see spaces pull up outside the reception doors check in and you can pay for a barriered car parking space otherwise you'll have a 10 minute loop to get to the hotel. I would use the hotel again, 15/20 minute walk to the centre"
